Cab Assembler (1) / Sub-Assembler (1) Day Shift 630-300pm 140 Consolidated Drive, Paris (Relocating to 100 Savage Drive) Assembler Level 3 As an Assembler – Level 3, you will fit and assemble components according to engineering diagrams and documents to build cabs or form sub-assemblies such as coolers, valves, engines, and tanks for heavy forestry equipment. To excel in this role, a combination of technical skills is required, including both problem-solving and mechanical aptitude. Job Duties Read and follow diagrams, drawings, specifications, bills of material, parts lists, and instructions to accurately assemble components. Utilize hand, power, and pneumatic tools to complete assembly tasks. Operate lifting devices such as jib cranes to complete assembly installations. Test and check electrical assemblies and wiring for proper connections. Repair or replace defective assemblies, components, and accessories. Ensure meticulous assembly through fit and alignment. Verify equipment functions and quality standards to prevent faulty products from reaching customers. Skills and Experience Ability to adapt to a changing work environment, handle competing demands, and deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events. Assembly tasks require collaboration with coworkers; effective communication and reasoning skills are essential when working on projects that involve multiple team members. Good level of manual dexterity and hand / eye coordination required. Physical requirements include the use of strength such as pulling, pushing, lifting and/or moving objects during the work, as well as standing, climbing, kneeling, and bending. All applicants require a positive work history at Tigercat and must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and able to deal with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events. Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills are required.
