This role supports piping and tester assembly operations and requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality and safety. Duties and Responsibilities Maintain all parts, tools, and equipment related to assigned work duties Operate equipment used in assembly and welding operations, including welding machines, weld rods, hand tools, and power tools Accurately read and interpret prints as required Inspect workpieces for defects and measure components using straightedges, templates, or other measuring tools to ensure conformance with specifications Dismantle metal assemblies or cut scrap metal using thermal-cutting equipment such as flame-cutting torches or plasma-arc equipment Assist with piping and tester assembly activities in the paint shop Climb ladders or work from scaffolding as required Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards General Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Strong communication and organizational skills Must be a team player with a high level of dedication and reliability Experience with piping and tester assembly preferred Basic bolting and torqueing experience preferred Ability to read and interpret prints and work instructions Physical Requirements Ability to stand or walk up to 90% of the workday Occasional bending, squatting, and climbing ladders or stairways Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally Ability to judge distances, heights, and weight when handling materials and equipment
