                                                                                                JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title:          Assembler Department:   Assembly Reports to:      Shift Supervisor/Department Lead Shift:                SUNDAY TO MONDAY 615am-445pm   Position Purpose   Responsible for assembling various components and parts according to detailed documented instructions.   Essential Duties and responsibilities * Assemble components using hand tools, power tools and specialized machinery. * Stamp, bag, clip, trim, debur, and wrap/package parts as required in the documented instructions. * Perform regular quality checks and visual inspections to identify and report defects and inconsistencies, adhering to quality standards.  * Complete all paperwork pertaining to production neatly and correctly following all quality standards.   * Ensure proper housekeeping by clearing and cleaning workspace. * Ability to work with common solvents i.e. denatured alcohol and adhesives. * Responsible for following all established Vaupell policies, standard operating procedures and safety practices.  * Other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications/Requirements * High school diploma/general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of experience, training and education * Ability to read, speak, understand and follow instructions in English. * Attention to detail. * Capable of using various hand and power tools * Comprehension of basic math, including fractions, decimals, averages and percentages * Must be able to wear and properly use required personal protective equipment * Teamwork and Collaboration   Candidates must be a “US Person” (i.e. US Citizen or Permanent Resident) to ensure Vaupell's compliance with ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and EAR (Export Administration Regulations)   Environmental Condition While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and vibrations. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to occasionally loud.
