Assembler/Welder $2,500 Sign-on Bonus 1st and 2nd shifts available Earn 15% more by working on 2nd shift Weekly Pay Overview: We are seeking a skilled Assembler/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and assembly processes, with the ability to read blueprints. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety standards while working in a fast-paced environment, primarily in a steel manufacturing settings. Minimum Education High School Minimum Years of Experience 0-2 Specific Qualifications Specific Qualifications: Duties may include: Commitment to a safe work environment, quality product, and teamwork. Measure dimensions of completed products or workpieces to verify conformance to specifications. Align parts or workpieces to ensure proper assembly. Operate welding equipment. Knowledge of welding processes especially MIG, and Flux Core. Read work orders or other instructions to determine product specifications or materials requirements. Review blueprints or other instructions to determine operational methods or sequences. Lay out parts to prepare for assembly. Lift materials or workpieces using cranes or other lifting equipment. Knowledge of crane rigging experience with large parts a plus. Operate grinding equipment. Operate cutting equipment. Mount materials or workpieces onto production equipment. Smooth metal surfaces or edges. Ability to interpret blueprints and fabricate complex structural steel projects. Strong math skills.
