Description We are seeking motivated and dependable fiberglass Assemblers to join our growing production team. This role is responsible for assembling fiberglass components and products according to the company's quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in craftsmanship, and works well in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Employees are expected to work safely, efficiently, and collaboratively to maintain production quality. You are a vital part of daily operations; consequently, it is your responsibility to be at your workstation at the time you are scheduled to start work. Requirements Assemble fiberglass components, hardware, and related materials according to work instructions. Utilize hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and assembly equipment safely and effectively. Inspect parts and assemblies to ensure quality standards and specifications are met. Perform trimming, fitting, drilling, grinding, sanding, sealing, or minor finishing work as needed. Read and follow production schedules, assembly instructions, and work orders accurately. Maintain clean and organized workstations in alignment with 5S/6S standards. Report defects, damaged materials, or production concerns to supervisors promptly. Work collaboratively with production, quality, and leadership teams to meet production goals. Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements at all times. Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist in maintaining efficient workflow throughout the department. Assist with material movement, packaging, or other production support duties as needed. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous manufacturing, assembly, automotive, or fiberglass experience preferred but not required. Experience using hand tools and power tools is a plus. Willingness to learn and be cross-trained in multiple production areas. Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and quality. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Dependable with strong attendance and work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Positive attitude and willingness to support team goals. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and move throughout the shift. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly. Frequent use of hands and arms for assembly work and tool operation. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with dust, noise, and varying temperatures. Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and respirators where necessary.
