The (Senior) Assembly Engineer position is within a fast-growing scale-up high-tech company. They design a high-performing metrology system. Your main mission in this role is to follow procedures in the assembly process of delicate mechanics and components. You are working on a measurement tool for the semiconductor industry. As an Assembly Engineer you will be working as part of the System Integration team, in the ISO 5 cleanroom and laboratories with the following responsibilities:

  • Assemble components based on technical drawings and instructions, including tasks like wiring switch panels, routing cables, or constructing mechanical assemblies.
  • Conduct partial testing of subassemblies and systems, coordinating with the team lead and colleagues as needed.
  • Verify the availability and quality of required parts, ensuring they meet established specifications and standards.
  • Consistently adhere to safety protocols; proactively identify and report potential hazards.
  • Work according to planning and deadlines, flagging any issues or potential delays in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members both within your own discipline and across departments.
  • Troubleshooting of semifinished products and systems.
