Position: Assembly Fitters
Location: Campsie
Reporting to: Production Supervisor
We’re increasing production at Terex in Campsie as a result of continuing successes. For this reason, we are expanding our team of Fitters/ Production Operatives in our purpose built manufacturing site, and have opportunities for immediate start.
We’re keen to hear from experienced fitters/ production operatives with a track record in similar roles to work on a full- time, permanent basis.
About the job:
You will be part of the assembly line fitting team using power and manual tools, following technical engineering drawings whilst working to set targets on production line. You will be constantly aware of the health and safety controls in place, and work as part of a team to develop continuous improvement.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Assembly line fitting
  • Use of power and manual tooling
  • Reading and understanding of engineering drawings
  • Meeting set targets whilst working on the production line
  • Ensuring the safe and controlled movement of production parts

Requirements:

Applicants must be able to demonstrate previous experience of the following:

  • Hydraulic/ mechanical fitting (any industry)
  • The ability to read and understand technical engineering drawings
  • Working to strict health and safety procedures

The ideal applicant will have experience working in a similar manufacturing environment.
