Who we are looking for: We are seeking a skilled, experienced Assembly Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Machine Assembly department. This role involves leading a team of Assemblers, providing technical guidance while ensuring high-quality production and on-time delivery of complex equipment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, organized leader with a strong mechanical background and a proven ability to guide and motivate a large team. We are looking for someone who can: Lead, train, and manage a large team of Machine Assemblers to achieve production goals Plan, assign, and prioritize workflow in the department to ensure deadlines are consistently met Oversee the accurate assembly of equipment using hand and power tools Interpret and apply complex technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints with precision Troubleshoot assembly challenges, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions Provide ongoing coaching and feedback, conduct performance reviews, and develop improvement plans to support team growth Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying training needs and refining processes Ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment Perform all other duties as assigned Physical Demands: Lift, carry, push, and/or pull 1-50 lbs. frequently Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, crawl, twist/turn, grasp, and reach overhead and outward frequently Sit, stand, and walk for 1-10 hours per day Work in a fast-paced industrial environment wearing hearing protection, eye protection, steel-toed shoes, and other appropriate protective clothing Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) Matching Dental Insurance Health Insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Requirements Experience: Mechanical Assembly: 5 years Team Leadership/Supervision: 2 years Power Tools: 2 years Blueprint/Technical Drawing Reading: 2 years Education: Associate’s Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or related field (preferred)
