8am till 4pm Monday to Thursday with 30mins for lunch, 8am to 1pm Friday - 35hrs/week
Salary: £12.84 per hour
Candour Talent Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Assembly Operative to join our well-established client based in the Cwmbran area.
This role presents a unique chance to become a part of a dedicated team within a well-established Production company.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Assembly operator for PCB and light manufacturing.

REQUIREMENTS:

Colour recognition, good dexterity, attention to detail and the ability to use basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, side cutters, wire strippers and soldering irons, while following work instructions and simply drawings are required.
Punctuality, a good attitude and a willingness to learn are more important factors than experience as training will be provided.

Reasonable fitness is expected as there is some light lifting, and much of the work is done from a standing position.

• Able to communicate both written and verbally
• Able to commit to full time hours
• Previous experience desired.

• Component preforming
• Placing components into position on a PCB
• Hand soldering components into a PCB to IPC standards
• Breaking out PCBs from panels
• Loading PCBs/products into automatic test fixtures and following on screen instructions
• Manually assembling PCBs into products
• Labelling and packing products into cartons
