JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Assembler Operative to join a high end and expanding company based in outskirts of Mansfield. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling various components and products in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using hand and power tools to ensure high-quality assembly and adherence to safety standards.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand assembly instructions and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to work well within a team, demonstrating good communication skills.
• A keen eye for detail with a focus on producing high-quality work.

• Study assembly instructions and gather required parts, tools, and materials.
• Position parts and subassemblies using drawings or header texts.
• Assemble components, ensuring correct fit and fastening.
• Report assembly issues to the supervisor for resolution.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment following 5S+ standards.
• Use equipment and supplies efficiently to conserve resources.
• Complete production and quality documentation (first off/last off).
• Operate drills, gasket machines, rail cutters, and other assigned equipment.
• Use hand tools to process products per specifications.
• Communicate concerns, discrepancies, and improvement ideas with the team.
• Follow all safety procedures and best practices.
• Keep work areas clean and organized (5S+).
• Assist in other areas as needed to maintain workflow.
• Use safe lifting techniques when packing finished products.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the manager.
