Description The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of tasks as assigned such as light assembly, spin welding, core cutting, etc. RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform basic machine operations following written instructions and demonstrated directions. Perform light assembly processes following written instructions and demonstrated directions. Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED. Ability to follow demonstrated and written instructions. Good communication of the English language, both written and spoken. Ability to read written instructions, use simple math and use basic hand held measuring tools. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Stand/Walk for 8-12 hrs. Bend/twist for 8-12 hrs. Use of both hands.
Responsibilities
