Job Details Job Shift: Any Job Summary: The Assembly Operator is responsible for assembling products and components according to specifications and quality standards. This role involves following detailed instructions, using hand tools and machinery, and ensuring that all products meet quality and safety requirements. Duties/Responsibilities: Assembly and Production: Assemble products and components according to detailed specifications and instructions. Operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly machinery to assemble parts and products. Ensure that all assembled products meet quality standards and are free from defects. Quality Control: Inspect assembled products for accuracy, completeness, and quality. Identify and report any defects or inconsistencies in materials or workmanship. Follow quality control procedures and guidelines to maintain high standards of production. Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately. Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assembly processes and productivity. Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements to the supervisor. Stay updated on new assembly techniques, tools, and best practices. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other assembly operators and team members to achieve production goals. Assist in training new assembly operators as needed. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and production efficiency. Qualifications Competencies: Must be able to understand written and oral instruction and have an ability to communicate effectively with others. Solid understanding of production machinery and proper assembly procedures. Excellent knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols and regulations. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED. 0-1 years of experience. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing in a heavy machinery facility. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
