Description

Position Summary The employee assembles parts by following special instructions, routers and blueprints. Essential Responsibilities Positions and assembles parts according to special instructions, routings and blueprints. Adhere to company specifications, work instructions, engineering prints and work orders. Assemble wire harnesses, connectors and other assemblies or components. Perform intricate tasks including stripping, crimping, and soldering of wires. Use Microscopes, hand tools and manually operated machines, etc. Cleans, assembles, disassembles and replaces parts as required. Uses chemicals, adhesives, solvents, lubricants, epoxies, paints and inks, as required. Keeps assembly department clean and free of foreign object damage. Keeps production lead/supervisor advised of work status, workload, problems and progress as related to work assignments. Safety is a core value at ITT. This position requires visibility to controlled documents. Responsibilities

The assembly operator is responsible for assembling electronic connectors, wire harnesses, and components by following blueprints and work instructions. They must also maintain a clean workspace and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
