Job Descriptions • Conceptualize the assembly process either in semi-auto, fully automatic machines or multi-purpose fixtures for new products with both quality and cost considerations. • Plan, execute and complete assembly process per the established timing and quality requirements. • Assist or wholly responsible for design, coordinating fabrication, assembly, debug and test run the equipment. • Spell out specifications and requirements for automation processes, source for vendors to quote, coordinate the projects, test run and qualify the machine using SPC tools and complete the final setup. • Coordinate with machine vendors for all new machines. Assist the vendors and ensure completion date is met. • Establish process parameters for all new assembly operations/machines and update all process specifications or issues before release to manufacturing. • Responsible for production output, quality & yield during the transfer phase to production. • Responsible to assist with investigation, root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for manufacturing quality issues. Job Requirements • Bachelor / Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing or other relevant discipline • Minimum 5-7 years of process development experience with excellent grasp of Engineering and Design principles. • Proficient with Mechanical Design, Solid Mechanics theory and its application to product design • Knowledge in process development and integration with robots (KUKA, UR, ABB & Yumi robots). • Possess Project management abilities • Knowledge in vision inspection machine and systems (Keyence, PPT and Cognex) Working hours: Mon to Fri, 8am to 5:45pm
