We are working with a busy manufacturer based in Huddersfield who are looking for a reliable and skilled assembly operative. This role will involve building parts which will be made to order and it requires a keen eye for detail and can be quite delicate work. Our client is looking for someone to come on board and become an integral part of the manufacturing team.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

· Past experience assembling small components.
· Confident with physical work and comfortable being on your feet throughout the full shift.
· Ideally would drive and have their own transport due to the location of the site.
· Excellent communicator and enthusiastic attitude.

HOURS:

7:45am – 4:45pm (Monday – Thursday) & 7:45am – 11:30am Friday

· Using hand tools to assemble small parts on a repetitive basis
· Checking each product for any flaws to ensure quality is maintained throughout.
· Using the automatic machinery to increase the speed of production and hit targets / deadlines for orders.
· Obtaining all materials from the stock and assisting with the putting away of the stock coming in.
· Learning new techniques and assisting with the training of new staff in the future.
· Adhering to health and safety regulations throughout the site.
