We have several divisions that make up our company which cover Design, Metal Fabrication, Assembly, Painting, Installation & Upholstery. We are in the market for an Assembly / Production Worker who can start immediately and bring their expertise to our business and hit the ground running.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE - REQUIRED:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Experience using hand tools
• General factory experience working in a fast passed environment
• Able to read and speak good English
• Basic computer knowledge preferred
• Additional on the job training provided for the right candidate
• Skilled in operating air & battery powered tools
• A positive & motivated attitude that believes in contributing to a great team environment
• A great eye-for-detail in producing products of the highest quality for our customer

ABOUT YOU

• 1-2 years’ experience in Production manufacturing or related experience
• Proficient knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Ability to follow Work Health and Safety standards, protocols and guidelines
• Is available to start immediately.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Production Workers / Assemblers will be based in our manufacturing centre located in Somerton Victoria. You will be reporting daily to the Production Manager, we are looking for someone that is good with their hands has mechanical aptitude and will enjoy working in a team environment. In this role, you will be rewarded by assembling & creating the Best Diesel-Powered Truck Sleeper Cab Air Conditioning system for our customers.
This role will suit someone who has similar experience or has a passion to work in a manufacturing industry and not afraid to get your hands dirty.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Perform assembly / disassembly operations on small diesel engines and associated components as required
• Follow well-established standards, procedures, and instructions in performing wiring component installation and product component fitment on assembly of systems.
• Use of hand and power tools competently
• Test basic operations of componentry based on set checklist
• Identify and communicate needed assembly correction, including troubleshooting issues
• Participate in continuous improvement activities for efficiencies
• Perform other related duties as assigned or required
• Maintain a safe, clean and tidy work environment
