Description

Responsible for daily shopfloor management of the cleanroom, Labelling and Boxing areas, manage and control the assembly processes, monitor performance versus targets ensuring that goods are produced efficiently and that the correct amount is produced to the right cost and quality standard. Support production planning. Also providing support for continuous improvement activities in this area.
· Organize and direct cleanroom activities to ensure that daily production targets are achieved while meeting regulatory HS&E standards and adhering to the requirements of the Mi3 QMS (Quality Management System).
· Demonstrate leadership by example in respect of standards of performance and compliance with company policy and processes.
· Ensure Production Orders are completed within their stipulated lead-time, so that Monthly output targets (quantitative and qualitative) are achieved.
· Proactively provide feedback to Production Manager on critical information regarding production constraints.
· Work closely with HR in processes such as recruitment and selection, induction, appraisals, training & development and disciplinary issues.
· Ensure that personnel records and training history/matrices for all Operations staff are maintained.
· Monitor and manage existing systems for Staff Training, T&A (Time & Attendance) Work Instructions, SOPs, and other production related documentation and records.
· Work closely with other departments within the business to maximize on-time-delivery to customers whilst supporting New Product Implementation and related Technology transfers.
· Participate in the implementation of specific projects, procedures and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the organisation.
· Provide inputs to management reports on a monthly and quarterly basis for Operations Manager and QMR where required.
· Responsible for the timely escalation of issues to the Operations Manager.
· Support the Operations Manager by inputting and reporting data records including production data (to Sage X3), quality data, attendance & timekeeping data and training data.
· For all tasks, make suggestions for continuous improvement of processes and implement where applicable / requested to do so.

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
