Summary: This role is responsible for daily assembly of machinery from blueprints, schematics or verbal instructions. You will be doing all phases of large assembly including pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical construction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Basic ability to read hydraulic and/or pneumatic schematics Basic understanding of electrical and volt meters Basic understanding of electrical prints with a continued knowledge of other forms of prints Basic adjustment of system components Can wire switches to print and start to wire boxes Read tape measure within 1/16" Read Level Identify and use SAE, Metric, Fine and Coarse Fasteners Demonstrate drilling and tapping by hand, air or electric for assembly requirements Proficient with power tools Must be comfortable working at various heights-will be performing work on ladders, platforms, and scissor lifts Basic equipment recognition Basic print reading skills for assembling Ability to create ECRs Other duties as assigned Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
