Description
An Assembly Technician needs to perform skilled tasks in the mechanical building of heavy trucks. In this role it is important that the individual is mechanically minded and has experience in assembly and/or repair of vehicles or other types of equipment. Training in our product will be provided. Hour rates based on experience with many opportunities for pay increases and career advancement!  RESPONSIBILITES What You'll Be Doing: * Adheres to workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliance. * Communicates any unsafe conditions or accidents/injuries in a timely manner to the supervisor to facilitate prompt correction or reporting. * Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service. * Installations of new and added-on equipment.  * Interfaces with the Safety department about repairs, additions or changes as it relates to safety interaction for employees. QUALIFICATIONS What You'll Need For Success: * Education high school diploma or GED. * 1-2 years of related experience. * Have a valid class 5 driver’s license. * Experience with routine maintenance operations. * Ability to work independently in a busy environment. * Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with strong attention to detail. * Able to work well under pressure both in a team and independently.
