Must be able to follow Standard Operating Procedures and process requirements. Basic computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access) Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand and walk around consistently thru a full work shift doing repetitive assembly tasks. Responsibilities Prepare child parts for the next day’s assembly requirements Laser Engraving Quality Control and Parts Inspection Perform visual inspection of various automotive components for coating integrity, color requirements and damage per SOP instructions. Perform mechanical assembly of various automotive components using automatic and manual presses, grease guns and other assembly tools and equipment. Perform final inspection of assembled components using various inspection equipment, gages, etc. Understand production schedule and daily assembly requirements of various product lines of parts.
Responsibilities
The assembly technician is responsible for performing mechanical assembly of automotive components using various tools and presses. They must also conduct visual and mechanical quality inspections to ensure parts meet production standards and specifications.
