As an Assembler you will be responsible for assembling component parts or pieces while adhering to a specific set of blueprints or schematics. Hand tools and mechanical equipment are used to produce structurally sound products and structures. Assemblers verify the correct quantities of components parts and quality check completed items. Requirements Duties and Responsibilities: · Follow required safety and work procedures including standards, blueprints and/or wiring diagrams · Utilize hand tools and pneumatic tools to assemble, wire and install components and assemblies · Assemble and package parts, hardware and materials to complete products or assemblies · Quality check to ensure all components/equipment meet company standards · Maintain a clean and orderly work area · Flexibility in shifting work focus to work at different workstations to meet production needs · Familiarity with hand tools (screw drivers, wrenches, wire strippers, crimpers, etc.), power tools (i.e., heat gun, impact gun, rivet gun, etc.), and pneumatic tools · Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to follow precise instructions · Develop working knowledge of the production environment with ability to respond to change · Seek to continuously improve operations of department Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: · High school diploma or General education degree · 1 or more years of manufacturing experience preferred Basic computer skills Ability to read, write and use basic math skills Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to follow precise instructions Ability to communicate effectively with peers, managers and across departments Physical Expectations: The physical requirements described here are representative of an employee able to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
