JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

As an assembly technician in an aerospace environment, you will be responsible for the pre-release inspection, assembly and test of OE and repaired propeller equipment sets for a variety of military and civil customers and platforms.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in mechanical assembly/test is essential.
  • The ability to demonstrate that they can utilize detailed manuals, drawings and other documentation to aid this requirement.
  • Minimum of time served experience apprentice or similar level of knowledge and experience.
  • Must be PC literate.
Responsibilities
  • Use of manual and automated test equipment.
  • Assembly of units using manuals and drawings.
  • Supporting engineering/quality investigations and project work as and when required.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and read complex assembly/test drawings.
  • High level of quality ensuring traceability and compliance is maintained throughout the process.
