GENERAL ACTIVITIES:

Work safely and develop save working methods in line with the organisation’s health and safety policy and maintain a safe working environment.
The assembly of mechanical, electrical and pneumatically operated products in a production environment. Working with hand tools and using other technical knowledge to complete production assembly tasks.
Preferred would be skilled / qualified in mechanical or electrical discipline. With experience in a production assembly environment.
Support and work within the lean principles of the organisation. Support the production manager and value stream lead in driving lean principles in the organisation.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Having awareness of safety and health issues.
• Experience in an assembly work environment.
• Mechanical assembly experience.
• Electrical / pneumatic experience.
• Having good communication skills.
• Inspect products for quality control.
• Experience of working with LEAN principles. (5s etc)
