The Role: You'll be joining a talented, welcoming and collaborative team and will be responsible for the assembly, test and inspection of various hydraulic/pneumatic instruments, using complex diagnostic tests and methodologies as well as high-level technical build. You'll effectively interpret and utilise assembly and engineering drawing/specifications. You'll also be responsible for ensuring that all assembly, test functions are completed to the necessary quality standards – they meet contractual customer expectations and conformance to enable progression to final inspection and release. It's also crucial in this role that you adhere to legislation governing employment, including but not restricted to; health and safety, data protection, equal opportunities, quality assurance ensuring compliance with statutory and local policies and procedures. To be successful in this role you'll need to have: You'll possess relevant experience working in a similar role, ideally within Aviation/Aerospace however this is not essential. You'll have no problem reading and interpreting engineering drawings and will be have experience in working with hydraulic/pneumatic components. You'll have worked with measurement equipment in the past such as Verniers, Micrometres and will have excellent hand-eye coordination. You'll be able to work both independently and also as part of a team whilst possessing excellent prioritisation skills. Responsibilities
The Assembly Technician will be responsible for the assembly, test, and inspection of various hydraulic/pneumatic instruments. This includes interpreting assembly and engineering drawings and ensuring quality standards are met.
