We are currently seeking a Full-Time Assembly Technician for our West Jordan, Utah office! The Assembly Technician works under the direction of the Assembly Supervisor to complete the assembly and kitting of production Bills of Material (BOMs). This includes working within a team environment and independently dependent on requested BOMs and business priorities while following department and 5S best practices. The Assembly Technician reports to the Assembly Supervisor and Assembly Manager. Duties Include: Detail Oriented. Able to follow Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions. Basic understanding of assembly workflow and processes. Works well in both a team environment and independently with minimal direction. Able to learn on the job. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Organized and dependable. Able to work within a warehouse environment that involves both standing and sitting for extended durations. Requirements BOM kitting and assembly. Assembly station build presentation and reset, following 5S (Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) best practices. BOM serial number generation and print replication. Assists assembly supervisor in physical build material supply tasks. Labels completed builds accurately following inventory standards. Perform quality checks on completed assembly builds, reporting discrepancies to the Assembly Supervisor. Trains with assembly team and Supervisor on all current assembly BOM builds.
