Description Assembly Technician Position Overview This position will be responsible for manufacturing the mechanical or electrical components for a variety of parts, subassemblies, and finished goods to ensure the unit functions according to specifications. Assembly Technician Essential Job Functions Reads test procedures, performance specifications, and drawings to perform testing procedures Assemble parts, subassemblies, and finish goods assemblies Test the product for functionality and compare results to specifications Replaces/Repairs defective wiring and components Operates equipment to verify internal assembly and alignment of parts according to specifications Accounts for time and work completed via an online computer data collection system Requirements Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Ability to read schematics and identify electronic components. Able to electronically troubleshoot to the component level, with a working knowledge of related tools, meters, and test equipment. Familiarity with assembly line processes. Experience working in a factory or manufacturing facility. Previous warehouse experience is advantageous. Moderate Computer skills. Experience using power tools and hand tools. Requirements Sit, stand, and walk for up to 10 hours per day. Lifting up to 50 lbs. Push/pull up to 50 lbs.
