Description POSITION SUMMARY: The Assembly Technician Level 1 is responsible for meeting production schedules and Work Orders assigned by the Assembly Technician Lead. The key focus is on quality, completion, and precision. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES: The Assembly Technician Level 1 is accountable for the following functions and responsibilities: Complete basic sub-assemblies independently. Read work orders. Complete, and report production. Assemble simple finished products with instruction. Accurately place part identification on finished goods. Follow instructions of Assembly Technician Lead. Maintain required attendance and punctuality as scheduled to meet production goals. Perform other functions and responsibilities as assigned. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: The Assembly Technician Level 1 must at a minimum possess the following: High school diploma or GED. One year of experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred. Ability to work in a team-oriented, high-pressured, and fast-paced environment. Ability to comprehend production requirements. Ability to speak, read, and write the English language fluently. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The Assembly Technician Level 1 must be able to: Lift a minimum of 50lbs, repeatedly, without assistance and up to 100lbs with assistance. Push/pull heavy objects with the proper equipment. Wear the appropriate PPE when required (i.e., safety glasses or side shields, steel-toe footwear, etc.). Stand for long periods of time; up to 8-12 hours a day.
Responsibilities
