MACHINE BUILDER

Location: La Grange, IL
Pay: $22/hour
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
Express Employment Professionals in Brookfield is seeking an experienced Machine Builder for a manufacturing company that produces high-quality machines for the food service and food manufacturing industries. This is a hands-on role where you’ll assemble machines, test functionality, and ensure each product meets top-quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 5 years of assembly experience in manufacturing or mechanical work.
  • Proficient with wrenches, ratchets, drills, and other industry tools.
  • Skilled in assembly procedures such as grinding, tapping, and precise measuring.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble machines from the company’s product line following blueprints and schematics.
  • Build sub-assemblies and components as needed.
  • Use a variety of industry-standard power and hand tools.
  • Make electrical connections and perform wiring as required.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines during assembly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe assembly area.
  • Complete builds in a timely manner, adhering to production schedules.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and supervisor instructions.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
