Description Job Title Assembly Technician Location Tempe, AZ (On-Site) Job Overview As an assembly technician, you'll play a vital role in our prosthetic assembly process. Your responsibilities will include preparing, assembling, and inspecting prosthetic components to ensure the highest quality standards. You'll work with cutting-edge materials and technologies to contribute to creating innovative prosthetic products. Requirements Key Responsibilities and Duties Follow specific directives on standardized documentation and procedures. Maintain accurate assembly records on standardized documentation. Prepare prosthetic components for assembly. Assemble prosthetic components according to procedures. Finish and inspect products in preparation for sale. Prepare sub-assemblies for use in the future processes. Inspect, repair, and perform rework on prosthetic components. Maintain clean & safe work environment Work in a technically challenging environment with strict adherence to quality control standards. Utilize tools, computers, and power equipment and do hand work in the mechanical environment. Support the Quality department during investigations and root cause assessments. Understand and adhere to manufacturing processes outlined in written procedures and requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills and Abilities Mechanical aptitude and spatial skills, with the ability to solve problems effectively. Proficient manual dexterity to manipulate, hold, and place small parts accurately. Strong proficiency in maintaining documentation and paperwork. Detail-oriented with an excellent attention span and focus on producing high-quality work. Demonstrated strong work ethic and proactive approach to task completion. Ability to work autonomously and take direction when needed. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Capacity to adapt quickly to significant changes in product demand. Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED required. Physical Requirements Ability to lift objects weighing up to 35 lbs. Prolonged periods of standing and working on a computer.
