Valmet is seeking an Assembly Technician to manage and execute in-house assembly and repair of products, ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with customer and service requirements. This role is critical to supporting operational efficiency, production planning, and product readiness for dispatch or installation. Requirements Assemble products according to technical specifications and work instructions. Perform repairs on returned customer products to ensure compliance with standards. Solve daily maintenance issues and ensure equipment functionality. Prepare manufacturing instructions and production plans using engineering specifications. Plan daily and weekly production tasks based on demand and priorities. Order parts and materials internally and externally. Operate machines and production equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and adhere to health and safety requirements. Assist Warehouse Coordinator when required. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions. Experience in production planning and scheduling. Basic ERP or inventory system knowledge. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to safety and quality standards. Proactive problem-solving and a continuous improvement mindset.
