Job Title: Assembly Technician Location: Irvine, CA 92618 Work Arrangement: Onsite, 1st shift, Monday - Friday Position Summary As an Assembly Technician, you will be a vital part of our production team, responsible for building and testing high-precision components and finished products. You will use technical blueprints and specialized tools to ensure every unit is manufactured to the highest safety and quality standards across sectors like aerospace, propulsion, and avionics. Required Duties and Responsibilities * Precision Assembly: Build and assemble complex parts or full systems according to detailed technical drawings and engineering specifications. * Quality Testing: Conduct rigorous testing on completed products to ensure functionality and strict adherence to safety regulations. * Tool Operation: Utilize specialized hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment to complete assembly tasks. * Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow all industry-specific quality control protocols (e.g., aerospace or medical grade standards). * Documentation: Record production data and test results to maintain accurate manufacturing logs and traceability. Required Skills/Qualifications * Technical Literacy: Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. * Manual Dexterity: Strong hand-eye coordination and experience working with specialized manufacturing tools. * Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in aerospace, automotive, or electronics manufacturing is highly preferred. * Attention to Detail: A commitment to "zero-defect" manufacturing and high-quality output. * Preferred Skills/Qualifications * Certification: A&P or IPC-610 Certification is a plus. Education * High school diploma or GED Clearance Level Required: None Travel Required: None Working Conditions The diversity of work conditions may range from an environment where there is little or no physical discomfort, such as a general office environment, to warehouse and other facilities. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: * Must have the ability to stoop, stand, climb, and lift a minimum of 35-50 lbs. * Regularly required to crouch and reach to install/move equipment by bending forward at the waist or by bending legs and spine. Work Authorization Requirement Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future employment visa sponsorship. Hourly Rate: $30.00 - $35.00 Hourly rate depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus. The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of salary or annual bonus.
