Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description – other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed. To ensure that all assembly processes to produce roller chain are maintained and run to the high levels of efficiency and quality stipulated by U.S. Tsubaki standards. Primarily responsible for the operation of stringing processes, power presses, pre-stressing equipment, packaging equipment, greasing equipment and associated inspection equipment. Retrieve and replace components from parts storage or prior processes to ensure continuous operation of equipment. Assists, trains and develops new operators. Previous experience is desirable assembling metal components, utilizing power presses, jigs and fixtures along with a variety of associated inspection equipment. Requirements Must have successfully completed an approved training program as to setting up and operating all equipment in section. Must be able to measure and inspect assembled products. Basic mathematics essential. Must be capable of handling somewhat heavy fixtures and parts. Must have the ability to identify various parts from engineering drawings used to produce chain products. Must be self-motivated. Able to understand and follow procedures specified by the company for Quality and Operation of the assembly process. Must be able to follow directions of group leader and set-up person. Must be an active team member, capable of communicating and working effectively and harmoniously with their peers. Must be flexible and able to change and adapt working practices as required to suit the changing needs of the business. Must be capable of running all equipment in section. Follow direction / instruction of group leader or supervisor. Must be physically fit and capable of handling heavy weights. Responsibilities
