TALENT POOL - Expression of Interest Position Title: Assessment Officer Grade: Clerk Grade 5/6 Division: Intake, Triage and Assessment Location: Health Care Complaints Commission Position Type: Temporary Opportunities (Talent Pool) Start Date: As vacancies arise – to be negotiated End Date: Temporary – Up to 12 Months Closing Date: Applications will be assessed on a rolling basis. The Health Care Complaints Commission is establishing a talent pool for Assessment Officer roles to support temporary resourcing needs within the Assessments Branch. This is an opportunity to work at the initial stage of the complaints process, assessing matters and contributing to outcomes that support the safety and quality of health services. As part of this talent pool approach, candidates will be assessed once and considered for multiple opportunities as they arise, providing a more flexible and streamlined pathway into the Commission. The Role Assessment Officers are responsible for the timely assessment and management of complaints received by the Commission. You will analyse information, prepare assessment plans, and support complainants and stakeholders to understand the assessment process. For further information please view the Role Description. Talent Pool This recruitment will be used to create a talent pool for temporary opportunities (up to 12 months) of the same classification that may become available over the next 18 months. Applications will be assessed progressively, with candidates moving through: A short work-based task; and A suitability interview Candidates will be assessed once for the HCCC talent pool and may be considered for opportunities as they become available.
