The position will provide clinical supervision for Assessor Coordinators and Social Workers on the team in the functions of case management practice. The position requires the use of high order knowledge, clinical expertise and strong interpersonal skills to coach, mentor, orientate and provide education to the team members. Drawing on standards of practice for case management; professional codes of ethics and standards of practice in health care; program policy and procedures; and, relevant legislation, the incumbent will ensure that the team provides high quality client service and professional standards of practice are maintained. Human Resources Exemption: No Education Recognized degree in nursing or social work. Must have a current practicing registration with Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers or the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan. Experience Minimum two years related clinical experience with demonstrated leadership ability and case management. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Advanced clinical skills, knowledge, and abilities required for competent case management practice. Highly developed oral/written communication skills Professional maturity and leadership in clinical area, with peers, multidisciplinary team, stakeholder group across the continuum of care. A strong commitment to professional development and ongoing learning for self and others. Good time management and organizational skills. Skill in complex decision-making and problem solving ability through application of knowledge, critical thinking and sound clinical, legal and ethical judgment. Self-directed approach to practice, requiring minimal supervision and direction. Knowledge of how to coach for performance, assign work to staff and resolve conflict between team members. Other Information Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement. HSAS seniority within the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be considered under the Selection Criteria. This is a community based position providing services at various clinics and Primary Health care sites, including rural, within Primary Health Care Networks (Regina). Travel is required where needed.
