    He angitūtanga: The opportunity   Auckland Council’s Financial Strategy and Reporting department has an opportunity for an Asset Accountant to join the Financial Compliance team.   This is a critical role for the Council and will focus on ensuring accurate accounting and valuation of fixed assets across Auckland Council and its CCOs.   You could expect to work on: · Managing Work-in-Progress (WIP) capitalisation and reporting. · Working with stakeholders on vested asset accounting · Working with external valuers to ensure accurate asset valuations. · Assisting with policy updates and supporting audits and queries.     He kōrero mōu: About you   This role requires experience in the accounting and finance space.
