Under the direction of the Manager Installation & Planning, the Asset Administrator provides coordination and management of all used and reconditioned MIS equipment. Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information, such as price, availability, and delivery schedule. Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection or quality control personnel, users, vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action. Approves invoices for payment. Expedites delivery of goods to users. Drive continuous improvement of asset performance. Assists corporate and regional management with life cycle positioning decisions, and longer term strategic placement and logistics issues for equipment. Influences and participates in the preparation and maintenance of a variety of statistical reports related to: repairs, utilization and downtime. Must be familiar with end of life asset disposal. Completes the receiver process in Cherwell. Responsible for the storage, maintenance and movement of MIS equipment within the MPTN enterprise. Provides these services in support of verticals, coordinators and Computing Services. The Asset Administrator continues to assist the Senior Coordinator with backup for Coordinating duties. Responsible for maintaining all company hardware assets. Assists Installation and Planning management in reconciling repair and maintenance invoicing. High school diploma or GED required. Must have two (2) years of work experience in asset management.  Must have extensive knowledge of Excel and be able to create and maintain Excel spreadsheets.  Must be able to lift 25 lbs. Must possess a valid State Driver’s license. Must be available to work nights and weekends. 
Responsibilities
The Asset Administrator coordinates and manages all used and reconditioned MIS equipment, conferring with vendors regarding product information and handling defective goods. This role is also responsible for driving continuous improvement of asset performance and assisting management with strategic placement and logistics issues.
