Read on to find out more… About the Role As an Asset Data Analyst within Nottingham City Council Housing Services’ Asset Management team, you will play a key role in ensuring that accurate, high‑quality data underpins our investment planning and asset‑related decision‑making. You will collect, validate and maintain data about our housing stock, helping us understand asset performance, lifecycle needs and opportunities for improvement. In this role, you will analyse complex data sets, identify trends and produce clear, meaningful reports, dashboards and visualisations for a range of stakeholders. You will use your analytical skills to provide insight that supports strategic planning, capital investment and operational efficiency. You will also conduct regular data audits, maintain asset databases and contribute to strong data governance practices. Collaboration is central to this role. Working closely with the Data Analytics Manager and colleagues across finance, IT, operations and other teams, you will ensure data is consistent, reliable and aligned across the organisation. You will also act as a first point of contact for asset performance queries. About You The ideal candidate will have: 1. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field. 2. Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and data interrogation experience. 3. Experience with Business Objects or other data reporting tools to develop and present complex data reports. 4. Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. 5.
