Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

Reporting to the Head of Strategic Asset Management, you will take overall responsibility for maintaining high-quality, accurate asset data across our core systems. Leading a team that includes in-house surveyors, you will ensure the collection and management of robust asset data that informs both short- and long-term investment planning.
Your expertise will play a key role in developing cyclical and planned investment programmes across the group. Additionally, you will prepare regulatory reports, including those for DHS and SHQS, while working closely with IT and BI teams to enhance data investment and reporting functionality through new technology and system upgrades. As the business lead for the group’s stock condition database, you will drive improvements and efficiencies in asset data management.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Degree in a construction or building surveying related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • A good working knowledge and/or understanding of relevant legislation and regulation in the housing sector including DHS, SHQS, SAP and HHSRS.
  • Knowledge of and ability to manage an Asset Management database which holds stock data, energy data and compliance data.
  • Sound experience of interrogating databases, running scenario reports, creating controls and processes in a variety of packages such as, Microsoft Excel/ bespoke system, taking responsibility to address gaps with appropriate solutions, working in collaboration with all internal stakeholders (development, neighbourhoods, customer, finance).
  • Ability to produce complex written reports and presentations that can present complex data and information in an accessible was to enable buy in from a range of audiences
