Responsibilities
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Hydrology, River Management, or a related discipline
  • Chartered Professional Engineer status (or actively working towards it)
  • At least 5 years of engineering experience within local government, utilities, or consultancy environments
  • Strong knowledge of flood protection, hydraulic structures, or natural resource engineering
  • A strategic, solutions-focused approach and excellent communication skills
  • A valid New Zealand Class 1 driver’s licenc
