Job Purpose The Asset Engineer (Track & Civil) oversees the planning, monitoring, and performance of the CRN structural assets to deliver the service outcomes for the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) on Country Regional Network (CRN) contract. The position is responsible for the overall asset management framework (10MSP and 3WMP) and the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) System, Infor. Key Responsibilities Contributes to the development of the Asset Planning Documents (10MSP, 3MWP and Asset Services Plan) in accordance with the O&M Deed. Monitor and maintain asset risk framework to support project prioritisation for MPM Track & Civil Programs and the overall 3MWP. Contributes to the continual development of the Track & Civil Asset Maintenance Strategies & Ranking tools. Delivers Planning of the Track & Civil 3MWP Program – detail site inspections and scope of works for structures assets with maintenance delivery teams to ensure resources allocation (plant, labour and materials) align with unit rate estimates. Seek to improve delivery of the MPM Program taking into consideration asset strategies, ranking tools and possession planning to reduce unit rates where possible. Monitors and supports the Configuration Management Change process end to end for UGLRL for existing assets and any enhancement projects. Leads the ACR and CCR Process Collect and analyse asset data about defects, failures trends, and maintenance activities to measure the effectiveness of the overall MPM and steady state maintenance program. Leads the maintenance of the EAM HxGN/GIS system and ensure asset records are maintained across the asset life cycle. Undertake engineering safety risk assessments. Qualifications Degree in engineering discipline. 5-10 years’ demonstrable experience in, and sound understanding of, asset management and / or systems assurance in a multi-disciplined production, manufacturing, maintenance or engineering environment. Sound understanding of Asset Management and Systems Assurance standards. Experienced in ISO 55001 and decision support tools with a plan to attain Asset Management Competencies. Demonstrated experience with project control techniques, earned value management, risk and opportunity management, and project financial forecasting.
