You will lead a national team of Asset Engineers who support Viva Energy’s Supply Chain Infrastructure Assets (terminals, depots and airport fuel facilities). This role can be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane and will require some interstate travel. Job Description Lead and coach a multi-disciplined team of engineers to optimise asset performance whilst managing asset risk and compliance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop multi-year maintenance programs and capital investment programs to maximise business value and asset availability. Provide engineering support to the operations and maintenance teams through technical guidance, incident investigations and safety reviews. Identify and implement improvements to our asset management processes and drive consistency in our engineering standards. Monitor and report on asset performance, risk and compliance metrics. Work closely with the Supply Chain Maintenance Manager to manage the performance and capability of maintenance contractors. Foster a safe and inclusive work environment that encourages new ways of working, adoption of new technologies and increased investment efficiency. Qualifications About you: Degree qualified in engineering with a minimum of 8 years experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical, mining or similar heavy industry sector. Solid technical knowledge of operations, maintenance and project requirements in a major hazard facility. Able to positively influence a diverse stakeholder group that includes senior management, operations, contractors and suppliers. Experience in an operating environment that requires the assessment and management of complex process safety and asset integrity risks.
