Job Description: As an Asset Gateway Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out Data Cleansing of Aircraft Electronic and Paperwork Documentation. Complying with written processes within the Mandatory Continuing Airworthiness Regulatory Framework. Core duties: Physical and electronic check of assets v ERC v F731 v ESS for alignment and resolving issues, ensuring the correct packaging and security of assets Ability to research problems and issues, including gathering information from various sources and communicating it to the relevant stakeholders. Understanding of the Safety Management System (SMS) and have the ability both to raise and respond to SMS issues (PrISM actions) Ability to check, for incoming Serviceable / Unserviceable assets returning from OEM or depot, whether there are outstanding SI(T)s, Arisings or Deferments (Concessions) and address accordingly. Essential Skills: In depth knowledge of ESS (6 months minimum experience) Awareness of the Regulatory Framework and relationship between the Pt M, Pt 145 and Logs Supply Chain environments Typhoon experience Ability to follow procedures and work accurately within established processes, ensuring compliance, consistency and attention to detail in all tasks Confident working independently, managing workload effectively, using initiative and taking ownership of tasks while maintaining high standards of performance Strong communication/interpersonal skills as you will be dealing with senior stakeholders and clients The Serviceable Asset Gateway team: One of two teams within the Asset Gateway Group. There are six members including Line Manager. The Role predominantly handling Serviceable equipment, The Team supports the PEP Cell and AMC Roles and cover may be required to support a night shift or the Team within the Unserviceable Asset Gateway Team, notice will be given. New members of the Team must have good communication skills and be able to interact with other agencies and must be able to work as a member of a Team. Why BAE Systems?
