Mō te tūranga | About the role As Asset Investment Advisor, you will develop and manage investment plans across all asset portfolios, including DOC’s annual capital planning process and fund management. The position will be focused on: Managing asset capital portfolios, including coordination of fund allocation, capex bid processes, reporting and monitoring Administering centralised operating expenditure pools Developing improvements for how work identified in capital/maintenance programmes and Asset Management Plans can be delivered Click here for the Role Description Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience If you have some of following, we are keen to hear from you: Able to plan and organise work over a programme of work and to meet agreed timeframes Skilled in working proactively with stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes Competence in prioritising financial planning and budget management High level of knowledge of capital and operational budget management in the Government sector Strong communication skills to produce useful technical outputs and advice to a very high professional standard Knowledge of all or some of the following asset classes – 3 waters, roading, biodiversity and recreation, heritage, property and fleet assets. Knowledge of biodiversity, visitor and historic asset field operations will be an advantage Advanced Excel skills will be required. Experience using a proprietary software application e.g. SAP, will be an advantage. Mō te tīma | About the team This role is part of the Asset Systems Team, within DOC’s Asset Management Unit.
