POSITION OVERVIEW

Catalyst is seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Asset Management Analyst to join our growing team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in impact-focused real estate private equity. The successful candidate will support our asset management team in optimizing the performance of our existing real estate portfolio while contributing to meaningful social and environmental impact in the communities we serve.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
• 2-3 years of professional experience in real estate, finance, consulting, or related analytical role
• Internship or work experience in real estate, asset management, or financial analysis preferred
• Strong academic record with demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and data analysis
• Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, and performance reporting
• Familiarity with real estate metrics (NOI, cap rates, cash-on-cash returns) preferred but not required
• Knowledge of PowerPoint for presentation preparation
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous exposure to real estate industry through internships, coursework, or personal interest
• Experience with real estate software platforms (Argus, CoStar, Yardi) a plus
• Knowledge of ESG principles and sustainability in real estate
• Familiarity with affordable housing or community development
• Strong quantitative background with coursework in finance, economics, or real estate
