ASSET MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATE   Location:  Richmond, VA Department:  Davenport Asset Management    OVERVIEW Davenport is seeking a highly motivated, detail oriented and business-minded professional to join the Davenport Asset Management Team. This full-time, exempt position will assist with performance reporting, support a group of financial advisors as a Client Service Associate on a day-to-day basis, and provide administrative support to the Asset Management department.   RESPONSIBLITIES The Asset Management Associate’s primary responsibility is to serve the needs of Financial Advisors/Clients with regards to servicing customers and fostering a positive relationship between clients and the firm.   Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Preparing and delivering accurate, timely performance reports and presentation materials for Davenport Asset Management client/institutional accounts * Ensuring data accuracy by reconciling performance information across internal systems and third‑party sources * Maintaining and updating performance reporting templates, benchmarks, charts, and analytics to support recurring reporting cycles * Processing client requests and responding to client inquiries; providing documentation utilizing Salesforce in support of the Advisors * Day to day maintenance of client accounts as needed * Fielding questions from CSAs/Advisors related to Asset Management products and procedures * Opening new Donor Advised (Charitable Giving) accounts and processing investments and grants * Utilizing ProxyEdge and Proxy Trust to vote/track proxies for discretionary accounts QUALIFICATIONS * College Degree or equivalent industry experience * Series 7 & 66 licenses required * Extremely well-organized, detail oriented and accurate; must be able to multi-task and meet deadlines * Highly motivated; ability to work independently, with strong interpersonal and communication skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel * Ability to learn and master computer programs that house customer data * Ability to understand and adhere to industry rules and regulations * Professional demeanor SALARY & BENEFITS We offer a competitive salary and excellent benefit program, including safe harbor 401(k) contribution, profit sharing plan, disability and life insurance, high-deductible health plan with an HSA, an on-site Health Center, Paid Time Off and elective dental benefits.  We offer wellness programs and support a friendly and collegial culture, with company sponsored volunteer opportunities during business hours.   DAVENPORT IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER Davenport & Company LLC provides equal employment and advancement opportunities to all colleagues and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, ethnicity, religion, gender, pregnancy/childbirth, age, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability or perceived disability, genetic information, citizenship, veteran or military status, marital or domestic partner status, or any other category protected by federal, state and/or local laws.
