DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

TD Asset Management (TDAM), a member of TD Bank Financial Group, is a leading North American investment manager offering progressive investment solutions to both institutional and individual investors. For over two decades, the organization has established competitive market positions in active, quantitative, and passive portfolio management. As of March 31, 2023, TDAM and its affiliates manage over $421 billion in assets on behalf of pension, insurance, endowment/foundation, and corporate clients, as well as high-net worth clients and retail mutual funds.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This Analyst program provides on-the-job training through rotations in various departments and involving assignments in operations, client reporting, research, and analysis. The anticipated duration of this assignment is 1 year and may include:

  • Contributing to the institutional client experience, including maintaining and updating the Client Relationship Management software and participating in the production and distribution of standard and custom client reporting
  • Creating comprehensive research reports on prospects, producing competitor intelligence reports, and preparing product and market research across asset classes and market segments
  • Assisting in data compilation, validation, and analysis for portfolio modeling and data analytics projects
  • Conducting market research and detailed analysis on public and private assets including equities, real estate, and infrastructure assets
  • Conducting performance analysis of the Alternative assets in the portfolios including attribution analysis and analyzing actual results against forecast
  • Learn aspects of the portfolio management, trading, and settlement process

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

The candidate must be graduating in 2026 with an undergraduate degree in Business, Mathematics, Actuarial Science or Economics.
