As an Associate within the China Institutional Business team, you will perform a broad range of business support functions that require confidentiality, diligence, and self-motivation. You will follow established procedures, processes, and guidelines when performing assigned tasks, and exercise good judgment and appropriate discretion to deliver timely, high-quality results aligned with the team’s objectives and best interests. Job Responsibilities * Prepare recurring and ad hoc client reports and analyses in a timely and accurate manner. * Develop and maintain presentation materials for internal stakeholders and external client meetings. * Compile internal reports and updates for senior management, including periodic summaries and key metrics. * Handle incoming requests and respond to enquiries from clients and business partners, ensuring clear and professional communication. * Support Client Advisors proactively across sales efforts and ongoing relationship management activities. * Conduct industry, market, and competitor research, with guidance from senior colleagues, and summarize key takeaways. * Liaise with relevant internal and external partners on system and workflow enhancements, and support compliance- and regulatory-driven policies and projects. * Coordinate and assist with event planning and execution (e.g., client events, seminars, business meetings). * Review existing sales and operational processes and identify opportunities to streamline and improve efficiency on an ongoing basis. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline (or equivalent qualification). * Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry, ideally in asset management (or closely related client-facing/support functions). * Highly organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. * Adaptive and fast learner; responsive, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. * Strong listening, communication, and stakeholder management skills. * Proficiency in English and Mandarin required * Demonstrated ability to follow up, follow through, and deliver on assigned tasks with minimal supervision. * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
