This is a unique opportunity for you to JP Morgan as a Client Advisor, Associate for Southeast Asia (SEA) Funds where you will support and manage all aspects of client relationships across the team. The SEA region is a pivotal hub for growth in the Asia-Pacific landscape, and we are seeking a high-caliber candidate to join us in expanding and diversifying our business.
JOB SUMMARY:
As a Client Advisor in J.P. Morgan Asset Management Southeast Asia (SEA) Funds team, you are responsible for intermediary relationships across various channels through which our extensive range of equity, fixed income, multi-asset and alternative investment products are distributed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the financial industry, with relevant sales and/or investment product advisory experience from Asset Management firms, Private Wealth Management firms or other relevant Financial Institutions.
- Strong knowledge of the Asset Management business and well-versed across all asset classes and investment products.
- Dynamic team player who is self-motivated and possesses strong interpersonal skills, showcasing the ability to proactively engage multiple stakeholders at all levels of seniority to drive our sales agenda and operate with strong sense of urgency.
- Experience in managing relationships both with clients and internal partners across multiple countries and regions to drive our sales agenda.
- Independent learner with logical thinking, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex matters in a concise and meaningful way.
- Familiarity with PC Skills such as MS Office and Bloomberg.
- Candidates must have a willingness to travel frequently.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS:
- Proficiency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese language skills is preferred as there will be interaction with Chinese speaking clients and stakeholders.
- Professional qualifications such as CFA charter holder and/or CAIA designation is preferred

Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow JPMAM’s funds business for SEA, based in Singapore.
- Provide the highest quality advice, and the best of JPMAM solutions and capabilities to our clients and partners in Malaysia.
- Operate within a dynamic Southeast Asia sales team in managing and growing key partnerships and grow overall business.
- Articulate and advise partners and clients on JPMAM market views, thought leadership, investment capabilities and solutions.
- Determine and implement client strategy to drive strategic business growth in line with priorities.
- Deliver commercial success, quality of service and risk-controls excellence of the overall business by working with internal stakeholders through day-to-day responsibilities, strategic initiatives, and projects.
