HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline
  • A history of relevant experience within infrastructure Asset management
  • Demonstrate experience within Asset Strategy Development, Asset Management Planning
  • Experience with Asset Management Capability Development, Risk Management and Performance Improvement
  • All staff are required to be a UK National and able and willing to obtain SC level security clearance, and therefore must have been resident in the UK for the preceding 5 years.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Amentum Defence and Security teams provide design and engineering services for our nuclear and defence clients across the UK and abroad. Our team is experiencing exciting growth and long-term prospects within our established practice, and we are looking for an Asset/Facilities Manager for our Glasgow office. With a Hybrid 3 days on site at Clyde commonly known throughout the Navy as Faslane. It is home to the core of the Submarine Service, including the nation’s nuclear deterrent, and the new generation of hunter-killer submarines. You will play a major role under the direction of the Head of Asset Management in formulating the aims and objectives of the Intelligent Asset

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • To undertake annual Performance Management, setting and agreeing targets linked to the IAM team Improvement Plan priorities with the Head of Asset Management.
  • As required, to have responsibility for line managing team members as designated by the Head of Asset Management
  • Assist the Head of Asset Management in the ongoing and annual review ensuring standards are maintained and the development of SMART priority targets in areas of responsibility and across all areas of the IAM team.
  • Work with outside clients and other Amentum teams to develop opportunities both with existing projects and new opportunities.
  • Provide guidance to others as a project manager using technical expertise
  • Asset Management Planning, Implementation of Asset Management Plans, Risk Management and Performance Improvement, Asset Information Management
