Headquartered in New York, Highbridge also operates an office in London. Highbridge is seeking a Managing Director to lead its global Business Development and Investor Relations efforts. This role will report to one of the Co-Chief Investment Officers and will be a member of the firm’s Executive Forum, collaborating closely with key leaders throughout the organization. This role will have substantial responsibilities, including overseeing all fundraising and investor relations activities, assisting in the development and structuring of investment products, implementing technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency, and building and maintaining long-term capital partnerships. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, driven, and aggressive in pursuing opportunities. They should possess strong organizational, managerial, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to understand and clearly explain complex investment strategies. This position offers the successful candidate the opportunity to significantly influence Highbridge’s growth and strategic direction. Job Responsibilities: The Managing Director will be responsible for leading Highbridge’s business development, fundraising, and investor relations functions. Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: Effectively manage the global business development and investor relations teams at Highbridge Fundraise for Highbridge’s flagship Tactical Fund and Highbridge’s private investment capabilities, setting clear goals and requirements for success Build relationships with sophisticated allocators worldwide, including organizing and executing in-person meetings and roadshows Create compelling content, including thought pieces that leverage the Chief Investment Officers’ (CIOs) market insights, as well as general marketing materials and quarterly letters Collaborate with various groups and leaders across the organization to ensure a comprehensive understanding of market developments and their impact on Highbridge’s funds Partner with Highbridge’s COO and CLO to formulate new investment strategies that meet the needs of clients and the market • Gain a thorough understanding of each of the Tactical Fund’s Strategy Groups to effectively lead meetings in the absence of the CIOs Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills: At least 10 years in a hedge fund marketing role, with prior team management experience being a plus A background in Finance or Economics Must be able to understand and explain relative value and arbitrage investment strategies, as well as have a solid appreciation for capital markets and trends in alternative asset management Must possess the ability to think strategically about Highbridge’s long-term direction and serve as a valuable thought partner to the CIOs and other leaders Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders A commitment to precision and adherence to disciplined processes is essential Must thrive in a dynamic, global team environment and embrace collaboration Should bring energy, intellectual curiosity, and a strong dedication to achieving results JPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world’s most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
